What's Shown on the Screen?

This is a list of domains that you've already connected to your ClikBy project to create branded short links.

Interface Elements:

• "Create" Button: Click here to start the process of adding your own domain. The system will provide simple instructions that you'll need to follow in your domain registrar's control panel (takes just a couple of minutes).
• Name: The domain name you're using for shortening. In the screenshot, these are google.com and google.by. Imagine your domain will be here, for example, link.mycompany.com.
• Links: Key metric. Shows how many smart links have been created using this branded domain. We can see that 75 links have already been created on the google.by domain.
• Created: The date the domain was connected to the platform.
• Three Dots (...): Menu for managing the domain, navigating to the Smart Links section with search by this domain, and removing it from the system.

Domain Connection Process

Domain Preparation

To start, you'll need your own domain. This can be:

• Separate short domain: for example, mcomp.com
• Subdomain of main site: for example, go.mycompany.com
• Special domain for links: for example, links.brand.com

Connection Steps:

• Register or Choose a Domain
  If your main site is mycompany.com, you can register a short and convenient domain mcomp.com or use a subdomain go.mycompany.com.
• Connect in ClikBy
  Click "Create" and follow simple instructions for setting up one DNS record in your registrar's control panel.
• DNS Setup
  The system will provide you with precise instructions for adding a CNAME record that will redirect your domain to ClikBy servers.
• Verification
  After DNS setup, the system will automatically verify the connection and activate your domain.

How Does This Work in Practice?

• Creating Branded Links
  Now when creating a new link, you'll have a choice of which domain to use: standard clik.by or your own mcomp.com.
• Getting Beautiful Links
  Your summer promotion link will look not like clik.by/H8jK2, but like mcomp.com/summer.
