Roles when a link is clicked
If you are an account client — you are the service customer. If a person simply clicked your short link, ClikBy processes their technical data (IP, cookies) on your behalf: you are the Data Controller / operator with respect to clickers, ClikBy is the Data Processor / authorized person (wording of Policy §1.9).
Send clicker data-deletion requests to the link sender (the controller), not «into the void».
What data and why
- Client account data: contacts, and details when needed — for the contract and the service.
- Click technical data: IP, UA→device, geo, UTM, referer, statuses, score — for antifraud and reports.
- Consent and pixel cookies — according to the link/site scenario.
- Cross-border transfer (Google/Meta analytics, AWS hosting) — under the Policy, with notice via the cookie banner.

Security in practice
- Access to the account is under a user login; we recommend strong passwords and not sharing the login with clients «for everyone».
- Connection to the service is over HTTPS (the site notes 256-bit SSL).
- The infrastructure relies on AWS cloud (as stated in the Policy on cross-border transfer and on the site badges).
- Antifraud and filtering reduce bots reaching pixels and account blocklists — this is budget protection, not a «magic shield against everything».
We do not promise specific ISO/SOC certificates in help unless they are confirmed by a separate document. We rely on the published Policy and product mechanisms.
