QR by location

A separate link and QR for each location — so you can see which point is actually scanned.

Key takeaways

  • For each location (store, stand, city) — its own smart link and its own QR.
  • Group by location via «Tags» and/or UTM (utm_content = location id).
  • A QR in ClikBy is bound to the smart link; scan stats = clicks on the link.
  • Do not print one QR for the whole network if you need to compare locations.

The idea: location = link

An offline network is compared by scans. One shared QR mixes all locations. Split the destination or at least UTM/aliases: store-msk-01, store-spb-02.

  • The same landing page + different UTM — a simple location comparison.
  • Different landing pages (local offer) — different destinations on the links.
  • A Space tag «Offline July» + labels in the link name.

How to mark up locations

1

Location list

Table: id, address, owner.

2

Links in a batch

Multi-link mode (up to the limit) or one by one with UTM.

3

A QR for each link

Download SVG/PDF from the QR section.

4

Layout labeling

Small location-id text next to the code for replacing the medium.

How to read the stats

Compare clicks on location links over the same period. Watch devices (mobile is expected), peaks during the location's hours, and abnormal bot traffic (if the code was photographed and shared).

General guide: Working with QR.

Print and test

  • Contrast, margins, size ≥ 2×2 cm.
  • A scan test on Android and iOS under the location's real lighting.
  • Do not delete the link — the QR will stop working.
  • Changing a promo without reprinting — by changing the destination (see the print article).

Mark up the locations

Create links by location, download the QR, and hang it with the location id label.
